Langano Lounge is located below Jarra’s, with it’s entrance facing Hawthorne Boulevard. It is well loved in Portland for hosting live bands and DJs and serving everything from fine liquors to cheap tall cans of beer. The Lounge’s intimate atmosphere and no-cover policy makes it a favorite destination for neighbors and music lovers. Gamers enjoy Pin Ball, Big Buck Safari and more. We have an adequate PA system (many bands choose to bring their own but you don’t have to) but it is essential that you guys bring your own microphones. We pay bands and DJs a flat rate of 10% of the bar sales and have a strict no-cover policy. Imagine playing a show in your parent’s basement, only with a full bar! We have served as the launching pad for many of Portland greatest bands, who enjoy our relaxed basement atmosphere.
